History

In 1953, Bill Wagner moved from Paris, TN to Tuscaloosa and purchased an existing shoe store in Downtown Tuscaloosa and shortly thereafter opened the first Wagner’s Shoes. Bill was not a stranger to the shoe business; his father had also been in the footwear business for most of his life. As a family shoe store, his mission was to sell quality products and give great customer service.
